What Data Management and Governance contributes to Cardinal Health

The Data & Analytics Function oversees the analytics life-cycle in order to identify, analyze and present relevant insights that drive business decisions and anticipate opportunities to achieve a competitive advantage. This function manages analytic data platforms, the access, design and implementation of reporting/business intelligence solutions, and the application of advanced quantitative modeling.

Data Management and Governance provides direction of data assets and is responsible for data strategy, quality, standards and service levels. Data management acquires, validates, standardizes, enriches, protects and publishes structured, third party and unstructured data for use by the business. Governance defines and implements policies, standards and metrics that ensure the effective and efficient use of trusted data and statistical models to support regulatory and business goals.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in related field, Industry Certifications, and/or work experience4+ years professional experience preferredAbility to collect, synthesize, and interpret information from multiple sources as well as provide easy to understand recommendationsExperience in Data Governance and Quality Technologies (Informatica, SAP, Collibra, others)Experience with Google Cloud Platform (Google Console, GCS, Dataproc, Big Query, Data Studio) requiredExperience with data management, engineering and analysis leveraging data science tools (Alteryx, Tableau, PowerBI or similar) and Scripting Languages (Python, SQL, etc.) requiredStrong experience of continuous improvement, Agile, DevSecOps delivery, and continuous learning requiredStrong knowledge of Cardinal Heath business processes and systems preferredPresentation, communication, planning skills experience
