Sr Accountant
Description We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team in Fort Worth, Texas. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a growing and established company by managing key accounting functions and ensuring accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in full-cycle accounting and a commitment to precision and efficiency. Responsibilities: • Manage all aspects of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate transactions. • Prepare and maintain general ledger entries while supporting monthly, quarterly, and year-end close procedures. • Collaborate with department managers to align financial goals and provide relevant reporting insights. • Assist in budget creation and forecasting activities to support organizational planning. • Conduct reconciliations of accounts to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies. • Support year-end audit preparation by providing necessary documentation and reports. • Generate financial statements and reports to aid decision-making processes. • Perform ad hoc financial analyses to address business needs and provide actionable insights. • Maintain a strong understanding of the company’s financial reporting structure. • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies in all financial operations. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. • Minimum of 2 years of experience in full-cycle accounting, including journal entries and account reconciliations. • Proficiency in managing month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities. • Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform ad hoc financial analyses. • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in financial processes. • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-departmental teams. • Familiarity with accounting software and financial reporting tools. • Solid understanding of budgeting and forecasting practices.
