Job Summary
Responsible for preparing, analyzing, and reviewing entries and schedules to support timely and accurate financial reporting.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities include the following:
Prepare journal entries Analyze and reconcile general ledger accounts and sub-ledgersParticipate in monthly and annual closesPrepare schedules and analyses for annual audit Prepare quarterly patient transport AR reports for audit and taxMaintain and reconcile fixed asset recordsRecord monthly patient transport revenuePrepare monthly patient transport receivable valuation analysis Prepare financial statementsOther Duties as assignedAdditional Job Requirements

Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) in Accounting or Business from four-year college or university; and five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.5-8 years of staff accounting experience preferredAbility to determine proper accounting treatment for transactions based on accounting principlesSkills
Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented, ability to prioritize and multi-task and meet deadlinesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong interpersonal skills and a high degree of collaboration at all levelsStrong business acumen with the ability to understand business situations, strategies, theory, processes, budgeting and operationsComputer Skills
Proficient in Microsoft Suite to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OutlookAdvanced Excel skills, to include pivot tables, complex formulas, and linksMicrosoft Dynamics SL or Great Plains software experience preferredCertificates, Licenses, Registrations
