**Senior Account Manager - New Construction Sales, Honeywell Building Solutions**
As a Senior Account Manager at Honeywell, you will be responsible for driving new construction sales in the Building Automation business unit, specifically within the Honeywell Building Solutions division. Your role will be critical in identifying new construction opportunities, developing innovative solutions, and establishing strong partnerships with developers, contractors, and key stakeholders focused on new building projects. Your expertise in low-voltage building technology systems and solutions will position you to provide value-added support that meets customer needs and drives project success.
You will report directly to our Regional Sales Leader and work from our Markham, Ontario location on a hybrid work schedule.
_In this role, you will impact our organization by:_
+ Developing and executing targeted strategies achieve sales targets for new construction projects.
+ Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the construction sector to expand the customer base.
+ Building and nurturing strong relationships with general contractors, engineers, and developers to understand their requirements and deliver tailored building automation solutions.
+ Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineering and project management, to ensure the successful execution of comprehensive solutions for new construction projects.
+ Providing technical guidance and support to stakeholders throughout the sales and project lifecycle.
**YOU MUST HAVE**
+ Minimum of 6 years of quota-carrying experience in sales or account management in the building technology industry, or equivalent experience.
+ Post-Secondary education in a technical field.
+ 5 years of experience in one or more of the following areas: Building Technology, Building Automation Systems (BAS), HVAC controls strategies, Access Control, CCTV, Fire Alarm.
+ Valid G driver’s license.
+ Ability to travel up to 50% of the time within Ontario, and occasional travel to the US or other areas of Canada.

+ Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth, with proficiency in using CRM tools.

+ Technical certifications in building automation systems.
+ Familiarity with industry standards and regulations pertaining to new construction projects.
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
+ Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
