SQM Global Electronic Senior Engineer

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY ACTIVITIES:

Work with global electronic team on electronic supplier selection, qualification, EMS safe launch, field performance monitoring with KONE supply chain quality colleagues and EMS suppliers follow KONE electronic strategy.Collaborate with global electronic team to ensure that component/process quality, technical and business requirements meet the global target.Assess and select potential suppliers (selection criteria definition and alignment, suppliers gap analysis, pre-auditing, etc.) with global electronic team by early planning.Take responsibility to define, measure and track electronic suppliers KPIs with EMS suppliers and global electronic team, keep close collaboration and cooperation with cross tribes and regional SQM team.Work with global electronic team to ensure supplier quality annex and relevant documents are up to date, perform the regular audits, assess supplier process risk and trigger mitigation plan, keep improve the quality performance.Chip and other electronic components’ failure analysis coordination and follow up among KONE electronic team, EMS suppliers and component manufacturers.Electronic manufacturer change management with KONE electronic team and EMS.

SKILLS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

At the minimum B.Sc level technical degree, major in electronics, semiconductor.Minimum 5 years of quality or engineering background in chip packaging plant, familiar with chip manufacturing process and quality management process, good knowhow on the packaging process reliability indicators, understand the basic chip design and wafer process.Familiar with various reliability test programs (including chip reliability and package reliability, such as ESD, LU, HTOL, LTOL, HAST, THB, HTSL, uHAST, TCT, etc.)Minimum 3 years’ experience in chip reliability testing and failure analysis, familiar with various chip-related failure analysis methods (IV curve, X-ray, SAT, TDR, EMMI, FIB, OBIRCH, etc.)Strong leadership and communication skills in global experiences. Negotiation and diplomacy skills to get cross functional team’s alignment, committed and working for goals.Strong problem solving, report present skills and have ability to work under pressure, skillful in quality tools, APQP,  PPAP,  FMEA, SPC, MSA, 8D  etc.Fluent level of English both in written and spoken is mandatory.Willingness to travel.
