**Job Summary** We are seeking an experienced Infra. Technology Specialist with 5 to 9 years of experience in database administration and domain expertise in Cards & Payments. The ideal candidate will excel in managing MariaDB MySQL and MS SQL Server environments. This hybrid role requires a proactive approach to ensure seamless database operations contributing to the companys mission of enhancing financial services. **Responsibilities** + Manage and maintain MariaDB MySQL and MS SQL Server databases to ensure high availability and performance. + Implement database changes and apply new patches and versions when required. + Monitor database performance and optimize queries to enhance system efficiency. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support application development and deployment. + Ensure data integrity and security across all database platforms. + Develop and maintain backup and recovery strategies to safeguard data. + Troubleshoot and resolve database issues promptly to minimize downtime. + Document database configurations processes and procedures for future reference. + Provide technical support and guidance to team members and stakeholders. + Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. + Participate in capacity planning and scaling of database infrastructure. + Analyze and report on database performance metrics to inform decision-making. + Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in database management. **Qualifications** + Possess strong expertise in MariaDB MySQL and MS SQL Server administration. + Demonstrate experience in the Cards & Payments domain. + Exhibit proficiency in database performance tuning and optimization. + Show capability in developing and implementing backup and recovery strategies. + Have a solid understanding of data security and integrity principles. + Display excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. + Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
