**Job Description**
The Supervisor reports to the Area Manager, taking direction from the Area Manager or the Production Technologist on duty. This position provides leadership and guidance to the hourly workforce in the manufacture of high quality energetic materials for the US Army customer.
**Required Education, Experience, & Skills**
-Lead the shift in the manufacture of products to meet quality and delivery schedule requirements in a safe, environmentally compliant manner.
-Direct operation/troubleshoot various chemical processing operations within the Modernized NC Area.
-Comply with all expectations given by the Department Manager.
-Ensure the work area is maintained in a safe and clean manner.
-Responsible for reporting safety and enviromental incidents immediately after they occur.
-Directing shift work activities of operations personnel to achieve production requirements.
-Communicate with the other supervisors in an effective manner
-Communicate daily shift meetings on safety, environmental, quality, and production issues to wage operators.
-Write service requests and follow up with maintenance personnel to job completion.
-Ensure the next shift is properly manned to support production requirements.
-Monitor inventory and make decisions to support production needs.
-Work with Area Manager and Production Technologist on personnel disciplinary issues.
**Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills**
-Experience with energetics, hazardous materials, and supporting utilities in an industrial environment
**Pay Information**
Full-Time Salary Range: $73778 - $125422
