Job Description
We're currently recruiting for \"2\" Spotter positions to guide heavy equipment operators on a construction site. These Spotters will use hand signals and the walkie to communicate with Operators. The ideal candidate will have excellent observational skills, effective communication abilities, and a strong commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
ResponsibilitiesMonitor and guide the movement of heavy machinery and vehicles to prevent accidents and ensure safe operations.Communicate clearly with equipment operators using hand signals and radios to direct movements and avoid hazards.Conduct 360-degree walk-around inspections to identify and mitigate potential obstacles and hazards in the work area.Maintain constant awareness of surroundings and ensure the safety of all personnel in proximity to operating equipment.Wear high-visibility clothing and remain in visual contact with operators at all times.Assist in route planning and ensure adherence to safety protocols and procedures.Provide support as needed.Essential SkillsGeneral labor experience.Experience in an industrial environment.Additional Skills & Qualifications2+ years of construction experience working outdoors on a construction site.Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices for operating heavy machinery.

Work Environment
The work environment is an industrial construction setting, requiring work outside in various weather conditions. The usual schedule is Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with some Saturdays required. Additional hours may be necessary.

This is a Contract position based out of Mooresville, North Carolina.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
