Job Summary Summary/OverviewHands on position that oversees entire venue operations. We strive to provide the best event diningexperience possible with a strong commitment to southern hospitality. Essential Duties and Responsibilities ● Associate training and talent development● Oversee operations of all University sporting event food service, covering five arena locations● Ensure all staff shifts have been filled prior to each event, all event positions have been assigned● Meet with managers to obtain information pertaining to events including run time, expected attendance etc.● Adhere to sanitation guidelines and ensure staff are properly cleaning as needed● Handle problems associates are not equipped for such as complaints, refunds, product recovery,personnel disputes, or anything else within scope of authority● Work with concessions managers on inventory control and ensure proper ordering of products● Ensure cash reports and stand sheets from each register balance prior to staff dismissal, prepareproper paperwork nightly● Coordinate with non-profit volunteers for event staffing Skills / Abilities ● Experience with staff supervision● Effective communication with managers and other departments● Knowledge of concessions equipment and troubleshooting including computers and point-of-sale systems● Knowledge of food service sanitation and safety protocols● Sense of urgency and ability to prioritize to achieve objectives● Ability to lift/carry product weighing up to 50Lbs The Benefits We are always looking for ways to invest in our people both inside and outside of work to help them achieve their full potential.
