Job Summary
Summary/OverviewHands on position that oversees entire venue operations. We strive to provide the best event diningexperience possible with a strong commitment to southern hospitality.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
● Associate training and talent development● Oversee operations of all University sporting event food service, covering five arena locations● Ensure all staff shifts have been filled prior to each event, all event positions have been assigned● Meet with managers to obtain information pertaining to events including run time, expected attendance etc.● Adhere to sanitation guidelines and ensure staff are properly cleaning as needed● Handle problems associates are not equipped for such as complaints, refunds, product recovery,personnel disputes, or anything else within scope of authority● Work with concessions managers on inventory control and ensure proper ordering of products● Ensure cash reports and stand sheets from each register balance prior to staff dismissal, prepareproper paperwork nightly● Coordinate with non-profit volunteers for event staffing
Skills / Abilities
● Experience with staff supervision● Effective communication with managers and other departments● Knowledge of concessions equipment and troubleshooting including computers and point-of-sale systems● Knowledge of food service sanitation and safety protocols● Sense of urgency and ability to prioritize to achieve objectives● Ability to lift/carry product weighing up to 50Lbs
