Spiritual Care Administrative Intern

The Administrative Intern for the Spiritual Care department is responsible for partnering with the manager in support of the Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) program. This role works with the department’s administrative assistant, contract chaplains, staff chaplains, contingency workers and volunteers who provide spiritual support services to our patients, family members and team members. The responsibilities for this role include (but are not limited to):

Organizational

Assist in answering phone & directing caller to services Implement accreditation updates to educational portfolio, as well as Student Handbook Update alumni network database   Assist in preparing and communicating information and instruction for chaplains Design and prepare patient & team members materials 

Planning & Executing

Plan and coordinate regional CPE Day educational event  Plan alumni event for the CPE program’s Spiritual Care Week  Collaborate with the team in creating a social media presence on Viva Engage (AHS’ Internal Communication Platform)

Research & Reporting

Project manage efforts around spiritual care and patient experience
