What You’ll DoAs a Pediatric Speech Therapist, you’ll assess, diagnose, and treat children with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders. You’ll work in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team in a dynamic, patient-centered environment.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Speech and Language Rehabilitation – Assess and address word finding, sentence formulation, and speech productionDevelopmental Support – Promote developmental milestones, feeding, and functional life skills in children with Cerebral Palsy, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down Syndrome, and motor deficitsSwallowing Rehabilitation – Evaluate swallow function, and implement diet modifications and compensatory strategies to promote safe feeding and nutritionDesign individualized treatment plans that support communication growth, developmental needs, and quality of lifeHOURS: Full Time or .8 FTE, 64 hours every pay period – Monday – Friday varied day hours
