Job Summary and Responsibilities
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join Good Samaritan Home Health team. The Speech Therapist will assess, diagnose and treat patients with speech, language, communication and swallowing disorders for patients in their homes. This role involves developing individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs and working collaboratively with families and other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
Provide therapy to patients in their homes, including techniques to improve speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing skills.
Customize therapy strategies to meet individual patient goals and objectives.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress, treatment goals, and outcomes in accordance with regulatory requirements and standards.
Provide training and support for family members to assist with therapeutic exercise and strategies at home.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
Active registered SLP license in the state which you practice and certification (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
Must obtain and maintain current CPR/BLS Certification
One-year Speech Therapy experience in a clinical setting.
Current Drivers License
Comply with federal, state and local laws and regulations
