This position is a Temporary PRN/Day role at Tipton Hospital

IU Health Tipton Hospital is a 25-bed critical access hospital where you will care for the patient through the full continuum of care. This role is for acute care and outpatient services, including Video Fluoroscopic Swallow Studies. Patient caseload includes pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients. After orientation, this role includes temporary consistent scheduling ~16 hours/week up to 6 months with opportunity for long-term prn coverage.

• Requires graduation from an accredited academic program in speech pathology or if foreign trained, graduation from a speech pathology education program outside the US with educationally equivalent coursework accepted by Indiana PLA. Requires current license in the State of Indiana. Requires a certificate of clinical competence awarded by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) or eligibility for this certificate. Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA. Advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
