Together, we will change the odds for underserved students, ensuring that every student is prepared to earn a college degree. Under the general supervision of a Speech and Language Pathologist or Program Specialist, the Speech and Language Pathology Assistant will perform services and consultation with teachers at a school site, provide activities designed to develop language skills and articulation skills, including speech production, vocalization and social pragmatics in students with speech/language disorders. Requirements / QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS Minimum educational level: Associate’s Degree and completion of a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant Program Registration as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant with the State of California Experience required: 1+ year working with students with special needs in an educational setting Valid California Driver’s License Work authorization requirements: Clear the Department of Justice background screening. Authorized to work in the United States. Provide health (TB) clearance (renewed every four years).
