Location: Soledad, CA Schedule: AM Shift | 40 Hours/Week Contract Length: 20 Weeks (Guaranteed through the end of the school year) Start Date: ASAP Position Summary We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide school-based speech and language services for two elementary school sites. The SLP will conduct evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, provide direct therapy, collaborate with school teams, and document services in alignment with each student’s plan of care and physician’s orders when applicable. This position offers a stable schedule, a manageable caseload, and the opportunity to make meaningful contributions to student communication success. Key Responsibilities + Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations to determine student needs. + Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals. + Provide direct therapy services to support speech, language, fluency, voice, and pragmatic communication needs. + Document all therapy sessions, progress, and recommendations accurately and promptly. + Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to promote generalization of skills. + Provide consultative support to school teams as needed. + Split time between Gabilan Elementary and San Vicente Elementary. + Manage a caseload of up to 55 students. Minimum Requirements + Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License in the state of practice (required) + CCC-SLP preferred and may be required depending on state/contract + Compliance with all professional standards and state/federal regulations + Current CPR (if applicable) + TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray per requirements + Current health certificate (as required by state/contract) + Must be at least 18 years old Assignment Details + Caseload: Up to 55 students + Schedule: AM shift | Full-time hours guaranteed + Interview: Required Bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
