Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – School Setting Location: El Cajon, CA Position Type: Contract | School-Based Start Date: ASAP Contract Length: 30 weeks Schedule: Monday–Friday | 9:00 AM–4:00 PM Total Weekly Hours: Up to 40 hours Caseload: Approximately 36 students Grade Level: High School Work Setting: In-Person (1 site only) Employment Type: Open to Part-Time or Full-Time Position Overview The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is responsible for implementing speech and language pathology services to high-school students in a school-based setting. This role includes providing therapy services, assessing student needs, maintaining documentation, and working collaboratively with school staff to support student communication goals. Key Responsibilities + Deliver speech and language therapy services in accordance with established plans + Assess, monitor, and document student progress + Collaborate with educators, support staff, and multidisciplinary teams + Manage a caseload of approximately 36 high-school students + Provide services onsite at Elite Academy (single-site assignment) Minimum Requirements + Meets education and experience requirements for the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) + Degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program + Current Speech-Language Pathologist licensure/certification in the state of assignment + One (1) year of prior professional SLP experience preferred + Current CPR certification, if applicable + Completion of TB screening (questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray) + Current health certificate, per state regulation or contract + Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements + Must be 18 years of age or older Benefits At Amergis, we firmly believe that our employees are the heartbeat of our organization and we are happy to offer the following benefits: + Competitive pay & weekly paychecks + Health, dental, vision, and life insurance + 401(k) savings plan + Awards and recognition programs *Benefit eligibility is dependent on employment status.
