Speech Language Pathologist - ST
About the Role We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our school-based team. In this role, you will conduct student evaluations and deliver individualized therapy services in alignment with each student's established plan of care and physician orders. This position plays a key part in helping students develop communication skills that support their academic and social success. Responsibilities + Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students + Develop and implement individualized therapy plans + Provide direct therapy services in accordance with the plan of care + Document all services accurately and in a timely manner + Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families + Maintain compliance with federal, state, and district regulations + Participate in meetings, IEPs, and interdisciplinary planning as needed Minimum Requirements + Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License in the state of California + CCC-SLP preferred (may be required depending on contract/state) + Ability to comply with all professional standards of practice + Current CPR certification (if applicable) + TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray (as required) + Current health certificate per state/contract regulations + Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements + Must be at least 18 years old Position Details + Modality: School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist + Location: Soledad, CA + Hours: 40 hours/week + Shift: Day schedule (school hours) + Contract Length: 20 weeks Compensation We offer competitive local and travel pay packages: Local SLP + Pay Rate: $90/hr + Total Weekly Pay (approx.): $3,600 Travel SLP + Pay Rate: $52/hr + Meals & Incidentals: $644/week + Housing Stipend: $1,337/week + Total Weekly Pay Package: $4,061 Benefits At Amergis, we firmly believe that our employees are the heartbeat of our organization and we are happy to offer the following benefits: + Competitive pay & weekly paychecks + Health, dental, vision, and life insurance + 401(k) savings plan + Awards and recognition programs *Benefit eligibility is dependent on employment status.
