Your recruiter will provide the most up-to-date details during the hiring process._ **Responsibilities** Evaluate and treat patients requiring speech-language therapy. + Perform therapy interventions utilizing standard therapy techniques and skills as appropriate for the condition of the patient. + Educate and counsel patient and family regarding treatment plans. + Maintain clinical records and follow performance improvement recommendations. + Plan and/or assist with patient discharge from speech therapy services. + Provide information regarding appropriate support programs. **Requirements** Licensure / Certification / Registration: + BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. + Require Current Illinois license as Speech-language Pathologist or Temporary license as Speech-Language Pathologist if in Clinical Fellowship Year required. Recommend Current Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
