Position Overview: 

Conduct individualized and group speech and language therapy sessions for students from K-8th grade, addressing a wide range of communication disorders. Manage and prioritize a student caseload (12 students part-time or 40 students full-time), including developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) or similar intervention plans. Conduct ongoing assessments of student progress, document therapy sessions, student performance, and behavioral observations, and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state regulations. Collaborate with parents and staff to integrate therapy goals into the classroom, and provide guidance on communication strategies. Adapt therapy techniques and materials for both in-person and virtual settings, ensuring effective intervention and engagement regardless of the delivery method.

Qualifications: 

Master’s Degree in Special Education Valid California Clinical Rehab Credential California Speech-Language Pathologist License (CA-SLP) Bilingual in Spanish (Preferred)
