**Overview** **Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation** **Plano, TX** **Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)** **Outpatient** **Full Time** **Salary range:** **$73,840.00 - $100,339.20** **Compensation depends upon candidate’s years of experience** **Responsibilities** Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation (BSWIR) is seeking a full-time speech pathologist based at our largest multidisciplinary clinic, Plano Alliance. BSWIR Outpatient has an interdisciplinary team model working closely with physical therapy and occupational therapy. We are searching for candidates with experience in treating motor speech, adult language, cognitive-communication disorders and dysphagia, especially related to treatment following head/neck cancer. We work as part of the continuum of care, striving to get patients back to their premorbid functioning. Adult outpatient therapy consists of diagnostics and treatment of stroke, acquired brain injury, dysphagia, voice, Parkinson’s disease, cancer, dementia and other medical complexities in an interdisciplinary setting. Experience in performing Modified Barium Swallow Studies, LSVT or SPEAK OUT! is preferred. Our outpatient speech therapy team includes many experienced clinicians with specialties in a variety of areas which serve as great mentors. Our Plano Alliance location has 4 full time speech pathologists on staff. We offer a clinical ladder for advancement and company-supported professional development and CEU’s and a student loan assistance program. We have a year-long professional development program to clinicians new to the post-acute rehabilitation part of the continuum.
