Position Overview
The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is responsible for conducting evaluations, delivering therapy services, and documenting treatment in accordance with each individual’s plan of care and physician orders. This role involves supporting individuals with communication and functional needs in a structured therapeutic setting.
Key Responsibilities
+ Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments.
+ Provide speech and language therapy aligned with individualized plans of care.
+ Document all therapy sessions promptly and accurately.
+ Follow all applicable professional, ethical, and regulatory standards.
+ Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members and families to support progress.
+ Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
Minimum Requirements
+ Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) licensure in the state of Ohio.
+ Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; may be required by contract.
+ Must comply with all relevant professional practice standards.
+ Current CPR certification (if applicable).
+ TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray (if applicable).
+ Current health certificate as required by contract or state regulations.
+ Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements.
+ Must be at least 18 years of age.
