Hiring School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Hybrid Role Location: Youngstown, Ohio Schedule: Full-Time, 40 Hours/Week Contract Length: Immediate Start – End of May 2026 (20 Weeks) Compensation: $65/hour • Approx. $2,600 gross weekly Renewal: Option to renew for the 2026–2027 school year based on performance Work Model: Hybrid – 4 days onsite, 1 day virtual Position Overview We are seeking a Master’s-level, licensed Speech-Language Pathologist for a full-time school-based hybrid role in the Youngstown, OH area. This role offers 40 hours per week, competitive pay, flexible caseload assignment, and the opportunity to work alongside an experienced and supportive team of school-based SLPs. Caseloads, age groups, and site locations will be assigned based on your preference, experience, and skill set, ensuring the best professional fit. Schedule & Assignment Structure + Hybrid model: 4 days in person at assigned school sites + 1 day remote/virtual services + Full-time, 40 hours per week + Assignments across elementary, middle, and high school settings + Work collaboratively with a team of veteran school-based Speech-Language Pathologists + Consistent support from district staff and administration Duties & ResponsibilitiesAssessment & Evaluation + Conduct speech, language, articulation, fluency, voice, and social-pragmatic evaluations. + Utilize standardized and informal assessment tools; prepare comprehensive written reports. + Participate in screening and referral processes (RTI/MTSS). IEP Management & Compliance + Develop appropriate, data-driven IEP goals aligned to Ohio standards. + Attend and contribute to IEP meetings as a key team member. + Maintain timely and compliant service documentation, progress reports, and data tracking. Direct & Indirect Service Delivery + Provide individual and small-group therapy across K–12 settings. + Offer push-in/pull-out services as appropriate for student needs. + Adjust interventions based on progress monitoring and team feedback. + Support AAC evaluations and implementation where applicable. Team Collaboration & Communication + Work closely with teachers, intervention specialists, school psychologists, OTs, PTs, and administrators. + Provide strategies and consultation to support students’ communication in the classroom and at home. + Communicate clearly and professionally with families and staff. Required Education & Certification (Ohio Schools) To qualify for this role, candidates must meet Ohio school-based SLP standards: + Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program + Ohio Board of Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology License + Ohio Department of Education Pupil Services License for SLP + (Or district-approved eligibility for a temporary or substitute SLP license) + ASHA CCC-SLP preferred (CFs may be considered with district approval) + Ability to pass Ohio BCI/FBI background and fingerprinting requirements + Experience in school-based practice preferred but not required Highlights of this Opportunity + Hybrid schedule with work-life balance + Weekly earnings of approximately $2,600 + Opportunity to work with an exceptional team of school-based SLPs + Caseloads tailored to your strengths and desired population + Strong onboarding support + High likelihood of contract renewal for the following school year How to Apply Please send an updated resume and/or contact Ruth Ann Today!
