Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – School-Based Nashville, TN | Full-Time | 25–26 School Year Locations: + Elementary School – North Nashville + High School – West Nashville Start Date: 2/23 or ASAP Contract Length: 20 weeks (Remainder of 25–26 School Year) Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7.5 hrs/day (37.5 hrs/week) Interview: Virtual interview required Feedback: 24–48 hours About the Position Amergis Staffing is seeking two dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to provide school-based speech therapy services for elementary and high school students. The SLP will perform evaluations, deliver therapy, complete documentation, and support student communication needs in accordance with individualized plans of care and physician orders. The district offers robust professional support, including a full-year “New Hire Academy,” extensive CEUs, and ongoing training for new and returning SLPs. Key Responsibilities + Conduct student speech and language evaluations. + Provide direct therapy services based on individualized plans of care. + Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all state, federal, and district requirements. + Participate in child-find activities and workload responsibilities (typical caseload approx. 50 students). + Deliver approximately 6 hours/day of student contact time and 1 hour/day of planning. + Collaborate with school staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams. + Work fully in-person (no hybrid option at this time). Minimum Requirements + Active Tennessee DOH SLP license (required to start). + TN DOE license (may be obtained after offer). + Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; may be required by district. + Must meet all federal, state, and local standards. + CPR certification if required. + TB test/PPD or chest x-ray if required. + Valid health certificate per contract/state regulations. + Must be at least 18 years of age. + School-based or pediatric SLP experience required. + Must be fingerprinted in Tennessee prior to start.
