Responsibilities

Mayo Clinic in Rochester is seeking a pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our nationally recognized team. Our pediatric team provides speech and language services in various multi-disciplinary clinics as well as individual evaluation and therapy services for a wide variety of patient populations.  As part of a multidisciplinary team, the SLP will contribute to patient-centered care through evidence-based assessment and intervention in alignment with Mayo Clinic’s high standards of excellence.

Department-Specific Responsibilities and Skills

Administering pediatric speech and language assessments.Differential diagnosis of a variety of childhood communication disorders.Evaluating and treating children with neurologic and neurodevelopmental disorders.Evaluation and treatment of severe speech sound disorders including childhood apraxia of speech.Work collaboratively on multidisciplinary teams.

Compassionate, team-oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
