Responsibilities
Mayo Clinic in Rochester is seeking a pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our nationally recognized team. Our pediatric team provides speech and language services in various multi-disciplinary clinics as well as individual evaluation and therapy services for a wide variety of patient populations. As part of a multidisciplinary team, the SLP will contribute to patient-centered care through evidence-based assessment and intervention in alignment with Mayo Clinic’s high standards of excellence.
Department-Specific Responsibilities and Skills
Administering pediatric speech and language assessments.Differential diagnosis of a variety of childhood communication disorders.Evaluating and treating children with neurologic and neurodevelopmental disorders.Evaluation and treatment of severe speech sound disorders including childhood apraxia of speech.Work collaboratively on multidisciplinary teams.Compassionate, team-oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
