Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) –
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 37.5 hrs/week
Start Date: 2/27/2026
Assignment Length: Remainder of the 2025–2026 School Year (performance-based extension)
About the Role
Amergis Staffing is seeking two full-time Speech-Language Pathologists to support students across various schools. Additional openings may become available. SLPs will perform evaluations, provide therapy services, and complete all required documentation in alignment with individualized plans of care and physician orders. These positions may float between multiple schools within the district.
Both in-person and hybrid models will be considered. Full-time in-person is strongly preferred.
Hybrid Schedule Option
+ 3 days in-person for evaluations and assessments
+ 2 days remote for meetings and documentation
+ Remote days are flexible and chosen by the SLP
Key Responsibilities
+ Conduct comprehensive student speech and language evaluations
+ Provide therapy services based on student-specific plans of care
+ Document services accurately and in a timely manner
+ Collaborate with school teams, administrators, and families
+ Follow all applicable clinical, educational, and professional standards
Minimum Requirements
+ Active state Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
+ CCC-SLP preferred (may be required by contract/state)
+ Compliance with professional standards of practice
+ Current CPR (if applicable)
+ TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray (if required)
+ Current health certificate (per contract/state regulation)
+ District will accept active out-of-state licenses with pending Delaware licensure
