Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) School District of Lee County – Ft. Myers, FL Start Date: February 23, 2026 or ASAP Contract Length: 15–18 Weeks Schedule: Monday–Friday | Approx. 37.5 Hours/Week Grade Levels: Elementary through High School Position Overview The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) will provide evaluation and therapy services to students across various school sites within Ft. Myers, FL. This role includes conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, delivering individualized therapy, and maintaining documentation in alignment with physician orders and student plans of care. Key Responsibilities + Conduct comprehensive student speech and language evaluations. + Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evaluation findings. + Provide therapy services in accordance with the student’s plan of care. + Document services, progress notes, and relevant clinical information in compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines. + Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student communication needs. + Maintain adherence to professional standards and ethical practices. Minimum Requirements + Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License in Florida. + CCC-SLP preferred; may be required per state or contract. + Compliance with all applicable professional standards of practice. + Current CPR certification (if applicable). + TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray as required. + Current Health Certificate per state or contract regulations. + Must meet all local, state, and federal employment requirements. + Must be 18 years of age or older.
