Position Overview
The Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) supports a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in delivering speech and language services. Responsibilities include clinical support, documentation, treatment activities, and other tasks assigned within the supervised scope of practice.
Minimum Requirements
+ Graduate of an SLPA program with an associate’s degree, or a bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
+ Minimum 100 hours of supervised fieldwork or equivalent clinical experience (per state/contract requirements)
+ Current SLPA license or certification in the state of practice
+ Compliance with all relevant professional standards of practice
+ One year of prior SLPA experience preferred
+ TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray (if applicable)
+ Current health certificate (per state or contract requirements)
+ Must meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements
+ Must be at least 18 years of age
Assignment Details
+ Services provided across two sites
+ Caseload details determined during interview
+ Setting and service model vary based on client needs
Schedule
+ Start Date: ASAP
+ End Date: May 2026
+ Daily Hours: 7:25 AM – 3:45 PM
+ Weekly Hours: 37.5
Compensation
+ Pay Rate: $40 per hour
+ Bill Rate: $65
