Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Elementary School
Full-Time, In-Person | Immediate Start
We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support an elementary school setting. This is a full-time, onsite role providing direct services, evaluations, and collaboration with school teams to support students’ communication needs.
Position Details
+ Full-time, 37.5 hours per week (or adjust as needed)
+ In-person position
+ Elementary school caseload
+ Immediate start date
+ Contract position through the end of the school year (adjust end date if needed)
+ Fingerprinting and background checks required prior to start
Qualifications
+ Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
+ Valid state SLP license or eligibility
+ ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFs considered depending on district
+ Experience working in a school-based or pediatric setting
+ Strong understanding of IEP development, service delivery models, and progress monitoring
Key Responsibilities
+ Provide direct speech and language therapy services to elementary students
+ Conduct evaluations, assessments, and re-evaluations as required
+ Develop, write, and implement IEP goals aligned with student needs and state standards
+ Maintain accurate documentation, service logs, and compliance records
+ Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, related service providers, and families
+ Support students in areas such as articulation, fluency, expressive/receptive language, pragmatic language, and AAC
+ Participate in team meetings, problem-solving sessions, and required school initiatives
