Job Summary and Responsibilities
We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Speech Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating communication disorders and speech-related difficulties in clients of all ages. This position involves developing individualized therapy plans and working collaboratively with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess speech and language abilitiesConduct swallowing evaluations and treatment, including videofluoroscopyDevelop personalized treatment plans based on assessment findingsImplement therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques and strategiesMonitor and document client progress and adjust treatment plans as neededEducate and train clients, families, and caregivers on exercises and techniques for continued progressCollaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care and progress tracking
Job Requirements
Graduate of an approved school of Communication Disorders holding a Master's Degree or higherCurrent CA SLP license. Recent board-eligible graduates will be considered for provisional appointments. CFY candidates must apply at the conclusion of CFY (required for student supervision).Speech Language Pathologist: CA (SLP: CA) Basic Life Support - CPR (BLS-CPR)Fire Safety card required.
