Speech Language Pathologist
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – K–12 School-Based | Full-Time, Onsite | Near El Dorado National Forest, CA We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our school team located near the beautiful El Dorado National Forest area. This is a full-time, onsite role serving K–12 students, providing both direct and indirect speech-language services throughout the school day. This position includes completing the current school year, with a strong possibility of continuing into the next school year. Position Overview The SLP will work with students presenting a range of speech, language, articulation, and fluency disorders, delivering services in small groups and/or individually. The ideal candidate is confident working independently, yet able to collaborate effectively with school teams. Key Responsibilities + Provide direct and indirect speech-language services to K–12 students + Conduct therapy in small groups or one-on-one sessions + Support students with: + Articulation disorders + Expressive and receptive language needs + Fluency disorders (stuttering) + General speech and communication needs + Complete evaluations, write reports, and participate in IEP meetings + Develop and monitor IEP goals in compliance with California state guidelines + Maintain accurate documentation and service logs + Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff + Provide consultation and communication strategies to school staff + Manage a caseload with professionalism and strong time-management skills Educational and Certification Requirements + Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology + ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) + Meets all California licensure and certification requirements + Familiarity with California’s IEP system and state regulations + Ability to work onsite and support multiple grade levels + Strong communication, collaboration, and independent work skills Preferred Qualifications + Bilingual (any language) + Recent school-based experience in California + Comfortable with digital tools and school-based documentation platforms Contract Details + Full-time, onsite K–12 assignment + Complete the current academic year + High likelihood of renewal for the upcoming school year + Competitive compensation based on experience and district needs For more information regarding this K-12 Speech Pathology Job, please contact Ruthie Today!
