Speech Language Pathologist
**Job Summary and Responsibilities** Join our team as a Speech Language Pathologist. In the Speech Language Pathologist role you will: + Act responsible for a continuum of services providing care to patients with neurological, swallowing, speech-language, cognitive, pragmatic, voice and other cognitive related disorders requiring intervention by a Speech-Language Pathologist through an interdisciplinary approach. + Utilizes rehab process to promote and restore optimal health to well-being of the patient. Assumes personal accountability for organizational mission and core values. **Job Requirements** In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following: + Two years of work experience providing direct patient care in an inpatient or outpatient setting preferred + Prior use of electronic medical records (EMR), preferred + Master's degree in speech-language therapy with a Certificate of Clinical Competence + Current Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American-Speech-Language-Hearing Association + Current Speech Language Pathologist Certification with the State of Colorado + Current Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association Physical Requirements-Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly) We need an acute care SLP who has experience with modified varium swallows. This is a PRN role that can cover our inpatient acute care needs between 8:00am and 5:00pm (up to 7 days a week as needed). We aren't able to precept for this role. This role does offer a PRN differential premium for all hours worked. Providing care through-out the region, St. Elizabeth Hospital provides cardiology, maternal, emergency, surgical, pediatrics, and acute care inpatient services in addition to the multitude of subspecialists in our specialty clinic. At 50 beds, St. Elizabeth is the region’s referral center serving a wide span of northeastern Colorado. Since 1952, St. Elizabeth has been serving the community in Morgan County which is one of the most diverse counties in Colorado speaking more than 28 languages. **Pay Range** $33.43 - $52.23 /hour We are an equal opportunity employer.
