UPMC Somerset is seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our rehabilitation team. Responsibilities: + Provide diagnostic and evaluative services for patients referred for speech-language pathology. + Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication and swallowing disorders. + Maintain accurate and timely documentation including progress notes, evaluations, and treatment records. + Coordinate scheduling and treatment programs for referred clients. + Prepare diagnostic reports with recommendations tailored to each patient’s needs. + Ensure compliance with regulatory and accrediting agencies (e.g., OSHA, TJC, CMS) and maintain all required + credentials (e.g., licensure, CPR, CEUs). + Participate in staff meetings, departmental committees, and in-service education programs. + Present educational programs and participate in community outreach as requested. + Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism in all patient interactions. + Support organizational policies, including HIPAA and the Corporate Compliance Program. + Provide excellent customer service with a positive, caring attitude toward patients, families, and colleagues.
