UPMC Somerset is seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our rehabilitation team. This full-time role supports both acute care and outpatient populations, offering a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact across a diverse range of patient needs. Responsibilities:

Provide diagnostic and evaluative services for patients referred for speech-language pathology. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication and swallowing disorders. Maintain accurate and timely documentation including progress notes, evaluations, and treatment records. Coordinate scheduling and treatment programs for referred clients. Prepare diagnostic reports with recommendations tailored to each patient’s needs. Ensure compliance with regulatory and accrediting agencies (e.g., OSHA, TJC, CMS) and maintain all required credentials (e.g., licensure, CPR, CEUs). Participate in staff meetings, departmental committees, and in-service education programs. Present educational programs and participate in community outreach as requested. Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism in all patient interactions. Support organizational policies, including HIPAA and the Corporate Compliance Program. Provide excellent customer service with a positive, caring attitude toward patients, families, and colleagues.
