Speech-Language Pathologist – $65/hr – Portland, OR – 3-Month Assignment Position Overview: The Speech-Language Pathologist is responsible for conducting evaluations and providing therapy services to students in accordance with individualized plans of care and professional practice standards. This role supports early childhood and preschool-aged students across home, community, and school-based settings. Assignment Details: Location: Portland, OR Start Date: March 9, 2026 Duration: 3 months Schedule: Monday–Friday Hours: 37.5 hours per week Pay Rate: $65/hour (local) Modality: In-person Openings: 4 positions Details of Assignment: There are multiple assignment options available: Two Full-Time Temporary SLP Positions (ASAP – End of School Year): + Serve preschool-aged students in home and community settings + Provide evaluations for children ages birth–5 + Locations within East Multnomah County Two Long-Term Leave Coverage Positions: + April 6 – June 17, 2026: Preschool-aged students in home and community settings + May 11 – June 17, 2026: Evaluations for children birth–5, primarily office-based near PDX with occasional home/community visits Additional Notes: + In-person work required + Virtual interview with program administrator Responsibilities: + Conduct speech-language evaluations for early childhood students + Provide direct therapy services in homes, community sites, and preschool settings + Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes + Follow treatment plans based on developmental and communication needs + Collaborate with early childhood educators, service providers, and families Requirements: + Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in the state of assignment + CCC-SLP preferred and may be required + Early childhood experience preferred + CPR certification if applicable + TB screening and health certificate as required + Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements + Must be at least 18 years of age Contact Information: Cyrus Vess National Recruitment Manager 813-371-5185 davess@amergis.com Benefits At Amergis, we firmly believe that our employees are the heartbeat of our organization and we are happy to offer the following benefits: + Competitive pay & weekly paychecks + Health, dental, vision, and life insurance + 401(k) savings plan + Awards and recognition programs *Benefit eligibility is dependent on employment status.
