Job Type - Part-time Contract Devoted Education Solutions LLC (DES) is seeking a dedicated and compassionate part-time licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be committed to supporting students' communication needs and promoting their full participation in the educational environment. This role focuses on helping students build essential skills for meaningful interaction, engagement, and success across academic and social settings. Duties and Responsibilities: * Provide speech and language therapy/evaluations for language, auditory processing disorder, articulation, and voice fluency * Provide direct treatment individually by implementing documented treatment plans as specified in the student’s IEP * Write evaluations and progress reports * As a member of the IEP team, the SLP shall attend IEP meetings and report on student strengths, needs, and progress. SLP will review assessment results as applicable * In compliance with state and local requirements, each therapist will be responsible for maintaining appropriate documentation regarding student services and subsequent needs * Consult and collaborate with parents, teachers, and administration in an effort to support student outcomes and meet special education laws and policies * Supervises the performance of speech-language pathology assistants, clinical fellows, students, and support personnel performing delegated and assigned treatment procedures and tasks
Requirements / Qualifications* Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communicative Disorders from an accredited university * Valid California Speech-Language Pathology Services Credential or a current California state license issued by the Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology & Hearing Aid Dispensers Board * Two (2) years of speech-language pathology experience in a clinic or educational institution as a state licensed speech-language pathologist * DOJ Background Check * TB test results required * A Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university with specialization in speech pathology, communication disorders, or a related field -and- Two (2) years of speech-language pathology experience in a clinic or educational institution as a state licensed speech-language pathologist
- A SpeechLanguage Pathology Services Credential from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC), or - A valid California SLP license issued by the California SpeechLanguage Pathology & Audiology - Resume, 3 References
