Special Education Teacher – Edgewood Elementary (2025–2026 School Year) Location: Edgewood Elementary Start Date: February 2025 or ASAP Contract Length: 2025–2026 School Year Schedule: 37.5 hours per week Positions Available: 1 Position Overview The Special Education Teacher, under the direction of the Special Education Program Administrator, provides high-quality instructional services to students in kindergarten through grade 12. This role requires strong collaboration skills and a commitment to team-based planning and implementation of individualized student programs. Responsibilities include delivering specially designed instruction, offering tutorial assistance, and consulting with general education staff to support student success. This position focuses on Learning Support for students with minimal to moderate delays in academic and/or social-emotional skills. Students receive most of their instruction in the general education setting, with targeted special education services provided as needed.
