Special Education Teacher – Emotional Growth Center (EGC) Location: [District/City not specified in text] Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–3:30 PM Hours: 37.5 hours/week Contract Length: 4 months Start Date: February 16, 2026 Openings: 1 Position Overview The Special Education Teacher provides high-quality instructional and behavioral support to K–12 students with special needs. Working under the direction of the Special Education Program Administrator, this role emphasizes collaboration, individualized instruction, and partnership with general education staff to support student success. This position is assigned to the Emotional Growth Center (EGC)—a specialized program designed for students with significant behavioral, emotional, and social challenges who require a highly structured, supportive environment. Program Description: Emotional Growth Center (EGC) The EGC serves students who have not responded to interventions in less restrictive settings.
