Job Posting: Special Education Teacher – Widefield School District (Southern Colorado Springs, CO) Location: Southern Colorado Springs, CO Schedule: Monday–Friday Hours per Week: 37.5 Contract Length: Full 2026–2027 School Year Start Date: Beginning of the 26/27 School Year Positions Available: 18 Modality: SPED Teacher Specialty: Special Education About the Role Widefield School District is seeking dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teachers to provide high-quality instructional and behavioral support to students in grades K–12. Under the direction of the Special Education Program Administrator, you will: + Deliver specialized instruction aligned with student IEPs + Provide tutorial assistance and academic interventions + Collaborate with general education teachers and multidisciplinary teams + Participate in planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized student programs + Support students across a variety of mild, moderate, and severe needs settings This is an excellent opportunity for educators who are passionate about making a meaningful impact in a supportive and collaborative school environment.
