Job Posting: Special Education Teacher – Village East Elementary (Aurora, CO) Location: Village East Elementary, Aurora, CO Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:15 AM–3:30 PM Hours per Week: 37.5 Contract Length: 20 weeks Start Date: March 2, 2026 Setting: ILC – Severe Needs Classroom (K–5) Openings: 1 About the Role Village East Elementary is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to support students in an Intensive Learning Center (ILC) serving grades K–5. This classroom supports 10–13 students with severe needs and includes three SPED Techs in the room for additional support. Under the direction of the Special Education Program Administrator, you will: + Provide specialized instruction aligned with student IEPs + Support students with significant academic, behavioral, and functional needs + Collaborate with paraprofessionals, general education teachers, and school teams + Participate in planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized student programs + Offer tutorial assistance and consultation to support inclusive practices This role is ideal for educators who thrive in a structured, collaborative, and high-impact environment.
