Job Posting: Special Education Teacher – Del Mar Academy (Aurora, CO) Location: Aurora, Colorado Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–3:30 PM Hours per Week: 37.5–40 Contract Length: Remainder of the 2025–2026 School Year (20 weeks) Start Date: February 23, 2026 Setting: Mild/Moderate Special Education Classroom Positions Available: 1 About the Role Del Mar Academy is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to provide high-quality instructional and behavioral support to students in a mild/moderate needs setting. Under the direction of the Special Education Program Administrator, you will: + Deliver specialized instruction aligned with student IEPs + Manage a classroom caseload of 20–25 students + Work collaboratively with paraprofessional support staff + Provide academic interventions and tutorial assistance + Consult with general education teachers to support inclusive practices + Participate in planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized student programs This role is ideal for educators who thrive in collaborative environments and are passionate about supporting diverse learners.
