Amergis Healthcare Staffing is partnered with a much-respected facility in Needham Heights, MA who is currently seeking a qualified Specimen Processor to assist them on a contractual basis.
Details of the position include:
Position: Specimen Processor
Location: Needham Heights, MA
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 13 weeks - temp to perm possibility
Schedule:
· 40 hours per week
· Monday-Friday
· 2:00pm - 10:30pm
· First day will start 11a-12p for training/orientation
Contract Requirements:
+ 1+ years of specimen processing experience
+ Will be labeling specimens, verifying patient information, and entering data – must be detail oriented
+ Specimen accessioning background strongly preferred - Will be accessioning tissue specimens for surgical pathology processing
+ No travelers – local temp only
+ Experience with any Laboratory Information System is a plus, does not need to be EPIC/Beaker – willing to train
+ Covid vaccine no longer required
+ No specific certification or degree required – just relevant experience
+ Ideal candidate has pathology lab or clinical lab experience and knowledge of anatomy and physiology
Pay:
+ $25/hr
EMR: Epic
Parking: Free on-site
