We are currently seeking a Specimen Processor to work in either a Patient Service Center or Client office. In this role you will be responsible for performing clinical specimen accessioning, sample sorting and data entry in a fast-paced, high-throughput environment according to established standard operating procedures.
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday 10am - 7pm

Job Responsibilities:
Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testingUnpack and route specimens to their respective staging areas.Accurately identify and label specimensPack and ship specimens to proper testing facilitiesMeet department activity and production goalsProperly prepare and store excess specimen samplesData entry of patient information in an accurate and timely mannerResolve and document any problem specimensPerform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups (as needed)Job Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalentNo relative experience required; At least one year lab specimen processing experience preferredPrevious experience as a phlebotomist highly desiredMust be able to work in a fast paced / high volume work environmentProven track record in providing exceptional customer serviceComfortable handling biological specimensAbility to accurately identify specimensStrong data entry, attention to detail and organizational skillsStrong communication skills: both written and verbalAbility to work in a team environmentComfortable working under minimal supervisionProficient in MS OfficeAbility to lift up to 40lbs.Flexibility to work overtime as neededAble to pass a standardized color blindness testIf you're looking for a career that offers opportunities for growth, continual development, professional challenge and the chance to make a real difference, apply today!
