We are seeking Specimen Management Associate to join Q2 Solutions, IQVIA’s laboratory business at Valencia, CA.

Shift: Monday - 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Wednesday - Saturday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Join our QVAL Referral team to support clinical specimen intake and processing, ensuring sample integrity, regulatory compliance, and timely shipment to affiliate labs.

What you’ll be doing:

Collect, sort, and maintain clinical specimens at required receipt temperatures

Prepare samples for shipment and ensure chain-of-custody documentation is accurate

QC and finalize shipments prior to courier pickup

Open incoming shipments and verify patient information forms; escalate discrepancies

Dispose and recycle kit packaging materials appropriately

Respond to after-hour alarms and support critical lab functions

Maintain lab equipment and perform general housekeeping

Assist with inventory tracking and workstation organization

What We Are Looking For:

High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience with sample handling, buffer preparation, and basic lab techniques

Familiarity with PPE usage and safety protocols in lab environments

Other Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree

The Knowledge, Skills and Abilities needed for this role:

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, frequent standing and walking, occasional sitting, close eye work requirement (computer, typing, reading small prints). Physical demands vary depending on assigned work area and work tasks. Occasional exposure to cold temperatures.

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow SOPs and regulatory guidelines (CLIA, CAP, GMP)

Proficiency in using lab equipment such as centrifuges, pipettes, and temperature-controlled storage

Effective communication and teamwork skills in fast-paced lab settings

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $24,400.00 - $50,900.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time).
