Your ‘day to day’:

Ensure all specifications related to the manufacturing of PMI products (semi-finished products and final product specifications, bill of materials, utilization ratio, parameters, technical documents and design) are properly defined and available in corresponding systems, respecting PMI QMS and Market needs.Manage the implementation of new products within the Factory by ensuring the internal and external communication flow among all departments committed to new product development and modernization.Assess feasibility of new products and special packaging by integrating inputs Operations, PMI and other involved departments, in order to set up project planning and identify additional operational requirements and/or risks.Liaise with product development, product commercialization, product services, engineering, planning and other internal or central functions to define all specifications necessary for the manufacture of semi-products and final products and launches of products on new Markets.Participate into regional development of systems for specifications of new material, products and processes. Ensure that in case of changes the process for RRP is met and PCRs are opened and followed.Ensure all technical documents related to product and non-tobacco materials description 8Project Detailed Report (PDR), product Specifications, Good to Print (GTP), Good to Design (GTD), Technical Drawing (TD), Color Standard (CS), Technical Sheet (TC, ..) are timely approved or delivered by Product Commercialization, Packaging and Product Development, to fit with the local production plan.Ensure establishment and maintenance of Master Data within SAP, Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and iMEL/LES-MESLead all the activities needed for the creation of Documents, BOMs, Task List in global (PLM) and local systems and the update of current RRP and filter specifications and filters technical sheets, to always guarantee production in accordance with PMI specifications and respecting the production plan to meet customer requests. To keep a harmonized portfolio to constantly reduce complexity.

 

Who we’re looking for:

University degree in Biological Sciences, Physical Sciences, Engineering or relevant skills through proven experience3-5 years' experience in quality Assurance in tobacco, food, pharmaceutical or similar industryWell-developed IT skills (Office) and project management skills.Sophisticated knowledge on Quality tools, root cause analysis, analytical skills, statistical tool knowledge.REQUIRED: Legally authorized to work in the U.S.REQUIRED: Must be local to Wilson, NC

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to stand, bend, twist, and crouch as needed 8/10/12 hours during a shift. Must be able to bend and lift various weights up to 25lbs if needed during shift.
