**Position Summary:**
This role is accountable for driving exceptional brand growth and patient acquisition in the post-acute channel across a defined geography within clinics, referral sources and post-acute providers in local home care.
Through strategic engagement, primarily in-person and occasionally virtual, with targeted prescribers &/or business decision makers, the Specialty Sales Executive will exceed sales targets by delivering compelling, evidence-based value propositions. The position demands a high level of collaboration with national counterparts and peers, and a relentless focus on expanding access, building stakeholder coalitions, and accelerating new patient starts.
**Territory:** From Seattle South through Tacoma, and East to Spokane
**Key Responsibilities:**
• Achieve and exceed territory sales and profit goals through strategic targeting, territory planning, and early-cycle product access initiatives.
• Deliver measurable financial impact by translating clinical or financial evidence into value-based solutions for targeted accounts.
• Maximize prescriber engagement through high-frequency, high-impact calls that drive specialty product adoption.
• Lead territory-level execution of national strategies, ensuring alignment with broader organizational goals.
• Build strategic relationships with high-level stakeholders to secure buy-in and drive sustained referral growth.
• Operate as a consultative seller, aligning product value with customer needs in the home care environment.
• Champion best practices, sharing insights and successful tactics across the sales organization.
• Navigate complex healthcare environments with professionalism, compliance, and persuasive communication.
• Overcome objections and respond to product inquiries with confidence and clarity, leveraging training methodologies.
• Leverage CRM and analytics tools to optimize call preparation, track performance, and gather market intelligence.
• Educate healthcare professionals through impactful meetings and presentations aligned with account-specific objectives.
• Engage in continuous learning, attending strategic conventions and internal training to deepen product and market expertise.
• Travel extensively (50%+) to maintain strong field presence and stakeholder engagement.
**Experience and Education Requirements:**
• 5+ years medical/clinical selling experience in an outpatient setting with demonstrated success in specialty medical products OR 5+ years combined experience in sales with demonstrated success and clinical experience
• Consistently meets and exceeds sales targets
• Strong business/financial acumen and negotiation skills
• Ability to demonstrate strategic planning skills as it relates to identification and management of opportunities
• Ability to develop solid and long-standing business relationships with strategic/targeted customers
• Ability to adapt well within rapidly changing work and industry environments.
• Degree in Business, Marketing or a Medical Science. MBA a plus
• Medical/clinical selling experience in the outpatient setting with demonstrated success selling to influential referral sources and driving new patient starts
• 2+ years proven sales success with GI or Pediatric platform highly desired \#LI-SF1
**Key Relationships:**
• All key stakeholders and influencers in the outpatient setting including but not limited to adult and pediatric GI, CF, Oncology, Allergy, RN’s, RD’s, PA’s, NP’s; home care liaisons, supply chain, intake coordinators, RD’s; distributor partners.
The approximate pay range for this position is $105,000.00 to $125,000.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
