This position is with our Specialty Mail Order Pharmacy team and based out of our Integrated Service Center in Plainfield, IN. This is a full time day shift position with no weekend or holiday requirements. After fully trained, there is potential for partial remote work opportunities.
Our specialty and mail order pharmacy programs are growing and looking for experienced pharmacy technicians to join our team. This position will support patients across the state receiving treatment for a variety of specialty conditions including treatments for oncologic conditions, inflammatory conditions, multiple sclerosis, and more! Daily responsibilities may include data entry, refill management/adherence support, prior authorization completion, and financial assistance investigation. Team members are office based, with the opportunity for partial remote work available. Schedule is Monday – Friday day shift, includes no weekend/evenings/holidays—we are based out of the IU Health Integrated Services Center located in Plainfield, IN.
• 2+ years relevant experience preferred.
• Requires the absence of criminal history related to the ability to work with drugs.
• Requires strong mathematical calculation skills.
• Requires working knowledge and skills as a pharmacy technician in assigned areas and ability to work within established procedures under moderate supervision.
• Requires effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Requires effective customer service skills.
• Requires intermediate proficiency typing and using Microsoft Office applications. High School Diploma or GED required.
• Requires Indiana Pharmacy Technician License OR intern/extern license if enrolled in accredited college of pharmacy.
• Pharmacy Technician National Certification required unless enrolled in accredited college of pharmacy.
