Job Summary:

Responsible for assisting physicians and nurses in providing quality patient care.

Essential Responsibilities:

Collect appropriate data and perform testing to prepare patient for physician visit.Maintain patient flow through the clinic.Pull patient voicemails and process messages to the nurses as appropriate.Complete patient refills as requested by both patient and pharmacy, ensuring appropriate lbs are ordered as needed and protocol is followed.Assist nurses with patient messages as necessary.Assist nurses with reviewing physician blue book as necessary.
Job Requirements

Education:

Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant Program.

License/Certification:

BLS CertificationAAMA-CMA; AMT-RMA; NCCT-NCMA; or NHA-CCMA

Qualifications:

Medical office experience preferred.Where You'll Work
