Specialty Assets Trust Associate
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities** + Maintain accurate databases for mineral/oil/gas interests, promissory notes, mortgage notes, and closely held business assets. + Facilitate and coordinate asset transfer processes across all asset types. + Perform non-routine administrative tasks, escalating only the most complex issues when necessary. + Schedule, track, and report key departmental information. + Collect and prepare data for reports, budgets, and variance analyses. + Compile information from multiple sources into cohesive, comprehensive reports. + Assist with the preparation, review, and auditing of reports. + Conduct research and investigations on complex matters and prepare supporting analyses. + Provide guidance or training to lower-level employees as required. + Develop processes and monitor adherence to policy, standards, and procedures + Collaborate with internal and external parties to obtain valuations for all assets. **Knowledge of:** + Standard office practices, procedures, and methods. + Basic mathematical calculations. + Basic understanding of Microsoft Excel. **Skilled in:** + Organizational and time management abilities. + Use of standard office equipment and software. + Interpreting and applying policies and procedures. + High level of detail orientation. **Ability to:** + Build strong working relationships. + Coach others. + Communicate clearly in writing and verbally. + Work effectively under pressure. **Preferred Education & Experience** + High school diploma or equivalent and 2–5 years of office or customer service experience, preferably within Specialty Asset administration, such as mortgage and promissory notes and closely held businesses. + Or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and training. **Licenses/Certifications** + None required. **Travel Requirements** + Travel: None.
