Specialized Fleet Services Supervisor/ Vehicle Hostler Under the direction of the Manager of Service Management, the Specialized Fleet Services Supervisor is responsible for the coordination of fleet service vehicles as assigned by the Service Management Department, minor mechanical repairs, shuttling of vehicles, responding to road failures, ensuring fleet readiness, and ensuring a smooth vehicle pull-out process.    Transdev is proud to offer: • Competitive compensation package of minimum $22.00 – Maximum $24.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities:   Using EAM Lean Shop, coordinates all fleet maintenance scheduling for preventive maintenance, minor, and major vehicle repairs. Obtains a daily roster of scheduled repairs and coordinates with maintenance vendors for timely delivery and repairs.  Performs light maintenance as required on vehicles (i.e., changing light bulbs, bolt tightening, vehicle jumpstart, tire pressure, wiper blades, fluid refills, batteries). Both at the facility and in the field.  Ensures work orders are completed properly and accurately. Maintains records of all maintenance and repair work completed, including parts and supplies used. Installs cameras and onboard technology equipment.  Coordinates inspections of all ADA equipment to ensure compliance with FTA/ USDOT requirements.  Responsible for coordinating and shuttling vehicles for vehicle washes and deep cleaning daily through a rotational process/ proper tracking.  Perform a daily review of the Operator Daily Reports (ODR) defect cards to validate and schedule all required repairs in coordination with Lead Operations Supervisors.  Monitors daily vehicle pull-out, ensures fleet readiness, and proper vehicle spare ratio.  Responds to in-field vehicle failures.  Coordinates vehicle tows as required.   Qualifications: The Ideal candidate will have a minimum of two (2) years of experience in a maintenance or similar related field working with automotive or transit vehicles.  Fleet maintenance tracking (EAM) software. Performing vehicle service tune-ups and oil changes. ADA wheelchair ramp standards.  Installing onboard equipment (i.e., Drive Cameras)   Work independently to perform a variety of functions while working in a dynamic environment with changing priorities to meet established deadlines. Demonstrate analytical skill and a high level of discretion and judgement to support and inform decision-making processes. Establish cooperative working relationships and communicate effectively with internal and external staff, both verbally and in writing. Exhibit problem-solving skills and exceptional customer service. Be open to collaborating and working in a team-oriented and helping environment. Possess a positive attitude and ability to practice good judgement, while open to receiving/providing feedback. Foster a culture that values critical thinking and problem solving and encourages constructive feedback and engagement.  Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable.
