Specialist - Network Operations

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Network Operations team at Marsh McLennan. This role will be based in our Pavilion Damansara Corporate Towers, Kuala Lumpur office. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working as per respective team's arrangement.

NSI L2 Engineer

We will count on you to:

Change and Configuration Management: Implement BAU changes to maintain network security integrity.Incident Troubleshooting: Provide Tier II-III support for BAU incidents, ensuring swift resolution.Project Progression: Support and contribute to security projects and transformations.System Administration: Manage network security device OS, including upgrades and feature adoption.Documentation: Maintain operational documentation for BAU processes.Support in Major Incidents: Support critical incidents, assisting the team to resolution.Setting Standards: Contribute best practices and high standards for the team through your work ethic.Collaboration: Build strong relationships and work closely with other teams within MMC Tech.Judgment in High-Pressure Situations: Exercise sound judgment and decision-making in complex scenarios.Initiative: Demonstrate the ability to work independently with minimal supervision

What you need to have:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field from an accredited institution, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.Experience: 5+ years of network security experience in a complex, large-scale, international, multi-vendor environment.Technical Expertise:Working knowledge of Palo Alto Firewalls, F5 Load-Balancers/WAFsExperience with TCP/IP and tools such as Wireshark.Understanding of Data Centre and Public Cloud architectures.Familiarity with Global Operations Teams and related best practices.Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
